Skuld jumped back. "What do you mean I know to much, you must be 
mistaken, I don't know anything!" She cried out. The creature 
laughed hysterically. "Silly girl, don't try and fool me!" It 
yelled as it lifted up one of its giant arms high up in the air. 
Just then the door slid open. Skuld turned around in fear. It 
was Megumi. "Oh My God!" Megumi screamed as she glared at the 
creature hovering over her. "Megumi run now!" Skuld yelled back 
at her. Megumi stood there frozen in her own steps. The creature 
slammed his foot down and a wind began to swirl around Skuld. 
Skuld began to shrink. Megumi ran towards Skuld. When she reached 
Skuld she fell to the ground and stuck one hand out to grab Skuld 
and the other to hold onto a loose floorboard so she wouldn't get 
sucked into the swirling wind. "Skuld grab my hand!" Megumi yelled 
as the wind started to pull her in. She tried to resist. Her hand 
began to slip from the board. Either I let go of the board and we 
both die, or I let go of her and she dies Megumi thought as her 
eyes glanced from hand to hand trying to make a decision. She 
needed to hurry time was running out. "Megumi, please help me! 
I don't want to die!" Skuld cried out as tears were running down 
her cheeks. Before Megumi could make up her mind Skuld's hand 
slipped out of hers. "Nooooo!" She screamed. The wind came to 
an abrupt stop. Megumi glanced around the room. Papers were 
thrown around, and the couch cushions were scattered about. 
The room was a wreck and Skuld and the creature were no where 
to be found. Megumi stared at the ground were just moments 
before Skuld was standing crying out for her help. Her eyes 
began to cloud up. "How could I do such a thing? I let her go, 
I let her die..." she said to herself. As she sat there sobbing 
she noticed something shimmer on the ground. She took a closer 
look and noticed a little gem. She picked it up to examine. 
"This must be the gem that was by Keichi." She muttered jumping 
to her feet. She ran out the living room door and down the hall 
till she reached Keichi's bedroom door. Belldandy must be in 
there she thought. She walked in the dark room with caution. 
She could barely see but spotted the bed from the hallway light. 
She leaned over and shook Belldandy. "Hey...wake up"....."Bell..." she 
shook harder. Belldandy finally opened her eyes. "Megumi is that 
you? What do you need?" She said with a groggy voice. "Yeah Bell 
it is Skuld she disappeared! I was standing there and all of a 
sudden she just like shrunk into the floor and * Poof * she was 
gone!" Megumi responded waving her arms around in the air 
drastically. "What!! .... Is this one of Urds tricks?" Belldandy 
said not believing what she was hearing. "Bell! Listen to me! 
I am serious! Look I found this gem where Skuld disappeared" 
Megumi handed it to Bell. "What is it? I have never seen it 
before?" She questioned. Belldandy slowly got up out of the 
bed and walked towards the door. She then turned towards Megumi 
who was sanding by the bed "Go back to the room and get 
any information you can" Megumi nodded and passed Bell. 
She walked down the hall with this empty feeling in her 
stomach. It wasn't from hunger, she didn't know what it was. 
But she didn't want to go back in the room. ~Knock, knock~ 
"who is it?" The voice behind the door replied. "It is me 
Belldandy" she replied. "Oh come in" the voice answered. 
Belldandy turned the doorknob and let it creak open. "Sorry 
to bug you but Skuld is missing" Bell said as she sat down 
on the bed next to Urd. "Yeah I know" Urd replied in a calm 
voice. "What? What do you mean you know?!" she said sounding 
a little angry.
"You found a gem huh?" Urd said casually.
"Yes..." Bell replied.
"Hm. I figured."
"What do you mean?"
"Whatever took Skuld killed Keichi"
"What! You are crazy! Keichi was sick no one killed him!" Bell yelled
"No, no listen. You know that gem in your hand"
"Yeah...."
"Well when we found Keichi one was laying next to his hand"
"I see... Like the one that was found with Skuld."
"That's correct."
"Could it be the same gem?" Bell asked.
"I don't know"
~Knock, knock~
"Come in" Urd responded
The door swung open.
"Quick you guys! You gotta see this!!" Megumi yelled saying so 
fast she barely finished as she ran back down the hall motioning 
for them to come. Urd and Bell jumped to their feet and ran after 
Megumi. They followed her into the living room where Skuld 
disappeared. Megumi was staring at the computer. They walked 
towards her and their mouths dropped in unison. "Oh My God!!"
